PAI Teacher Training cultivates competent and confident Pilates instructors capable of meeting the needs of diverse clients of all ages and fitness levels.

At PAI, Pilates and fitness enthusiasts can be trained to teach on the following Pilates equipment:

Mat, including props and small equipment
Reformer -- we welcome any manufacturer
Cadillac -- also called the "Trap Table"
Stability Chair -- "Wunda Chair" with Split Pedals
Barrels -- Arc Barrel, Spine Corrector and Ladder Barrel

It ALL starts with the ABC's!

Every student starts with the ABC's:

Anatomy, Biomechanics and Cueing for Posture, Form and Alignment

We've incorporated the most up to date technology to make learning anatomy dynamic, 3-dimensional, and fun!

We then add the biomechanics to facilitate a deeper understanding of how we all move.

The course culminates with posture, form and alignment and how all of this affects movement patterns.

Choosing a Pilates teacher training program can be very challenging, but we've got you covered!

We've been doing this a LOOOOONG time, and because we were also running our Manhattan studio while conducting Teacher Training, we were able to quickly analyze what worked, what didn't, and then adjust our training accordingly.

We will set you up for success!

The Pilates Academy International, like many programs, adheres
to the guidelines and standards of both domestic and international regulatory organizations*, maintains affordable rates, and provides high-quality, comprehensive education.

We are continuing education providers for The American Council on Exercise (ACE), The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)*, and the National Pilates Certification Program (NATPCP).

Many PAI courses and continuing education workshops are either already eligible for or are under application for continuing education credits
from these organizations.

*PAI has applied to CIMSPA in the UK and has an application ready for the ITTAP once it is revamped. The application to be CEC providers for NASM is pending.
